COVID-19 has altered life – including business operations – as we know it. The ways in which the Chamber is delivering on its mission and vision have changed but our purpose has not. #GreenBayMade: We still mean business.

Our small and medium size companies whose operations have been significantly impacted as a result of COVID-19 that need help getting back up and running. With this goal, we have created a short-term Greater Green Bay Back to Business Grant fund.

The funds will be awarded to Brown County businesses with fewer than (50) FTE employees, with a priority to those that have frequent and close contact with customers.

Any business that have received funding over $30,000 are not eligible. Funding is classed as any/all monies received to assist your business during the Covid-19 pandemic. Grants will be awarded in amounts up to $10,000.

Eligible Business:
A business in an industry outlined in Emergency Order #12 –

Safer at Home Order, or any subsequent Emergency Order, or demonstrates it is otherwise affected by the COVID-19 outbreak due to a decrease in physical foot traffic which their business depends on.

The following requirements must be met:

  • Physical business presence in Brown County
  • 2-50 employees
  • Minimum time in business 2+years
  • Company must demonstrate an income loss as a result of the Emergency Order #12, or the COVID-19 outbreak
  • Chamber membership not required
  • Must not have received any form of financial support totaling over $30,000 for the Covid-19 Pandemic

Incomplete applications will NOT be considered

 

Ineligible:
Grants are not available for property management/landlord for either commercial and/or residential customers, any speculative venture, investment venture, research and development, Non-profit (Not for profit) businesses, or home- based occupations.
